Research
Among the environmental impacts of fast fashion include the depletion of non-renewable sources, emission of greenhouse gases and the use of massive amounts of water and energy.
Industries not paying fair living wages to workers, poor working conditions, child labor, environmental destruction from hazardous chemicals, plastic-derived materials, and increasing amounts of water pollution and textile waste.
Concept Inspiration
Our inspiration comes from collage pieces and artworks to mimic the rendition of a piece of clothing patched with other used or recycled materials.

Process
Iteration 1: I experimented with colors and composition, along with the scribbles to create a more friendly and inviting mood. The iteration in left had better color choices.
Iteration 2: Still in the process of figuring out a composition with the model poses. The hierarchy was troubling to organize.
Iteration 3: We’ve decided on three main colors for consistency throughout our posters: red, yellow and green. I focused more on readability and played with the arches to see what works.

Challenges, What Worked, and Moving Forward
Keeping a consistent poster was challenging, but with communication and feedback, the turnout went well and matched the rest of the posters.
The collage-retro style was a perfect aesthetic for this topic since we aimed to capture our user’s attention with our bright, psychedelic posters.
In the future, we plan on adding more material, such as a website, to complete our project’s goals
